Project Overview:
Since 2007 we have been carrying out works at the Coryton Oil Refinery now known as Thames Oil Port. In March 2007 we were awarded a 3 year contract from at the time BP Oil UK to manage all asbestos on site at the refinery. On completion of that contract and following tender we were then awarded the contract for another 3 years. At the peak of works we had a team of 6 full time personnel based permanently on site with an on-site UKAS accredited identification lab. We remain permanently working on site to the present day under the current owners Vopak – Thames Oil Port providing a continuous programme of air monitoring.
Our Approach:
To ensure delivery we permanently based a team of our experienced surveyors and analysts on site enabling the program of works to be completed for our client on schedule and within budget. Within the duration of works we were awarded Bronze, Silver & Gold Safety awards by the then owner Petroplus and these awards were recognised and endorsed by the British Safety Council in recognition of our record on site.
